Being Your Best

Being your best has no ceiling. And, a life without risk is no life at all. I’d rather be an optimist and be wrong vs a pessimist and be right. Never turn your back on your own ideas!

What great idea should you build a plan around and execute on? What excites you about this idea? What are the obstacles that you control that prevent you from moving forward? What are the solutions to those obstacles?

Under any circumstance, be and do your best. No more, no less. It doesn’t matter if you are sick or tired, if you always be and do your best there is no way you can judge yourself. And if you don’t judge yourself there is no way you are going to suffer from guilt, blame, or self-punishment. When you be and do your best there are no regrets.

Be your best because you want to, not because you have to. If you take action because you have to, then there is no way you are going to do your best.

What really matters to you? Action is about living fully. Inaction is the way we deny life. Inaction is sitting in front of the television every day for years on end because you’re afraid to be alive and to take the risk of experiencing what you are. Expressing what you are is taking action. You can have many great ideas in your head, but what makes the difference is execution. Without action upon a planned idea, there will be no results and no reward.

Execute. Be your best. Live life fully. No more, no less.
